Role: Assistant Manager, Part-time

  • Starting pay: $20/hour. We offer benefits after 3 months of employment.

  • Hours needed: Mornings, afternoon and weekends available. Flexible hours.

We are seeking an energetic part-time Assistant Manager Host to join our team at LEKA! In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience playing at LEKA.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in serving, waitering, or a similar work where the focus is on the guest. Your positive attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment will be highly valued.

  • Ensuring that all play equipment, toys, and eating areas are kept clean and organized

  • Coordinating and prep for upcoming birthday parties

  • Successfully resolving customer issues and escalations in a timely and professional manner

  • Answering the phone, respond to emails

Compensation:

Required skills:

  • LEKA is a customer centric business. We want you to have at least three years of experience working a waiter, a barista or similar in a fast-paced environment.

  • A friendly, positive, can do attitude! We need a self starter with high energy. We We’re still a fairly new company, so you need to go with the flow as things can quickly change on a whim!

  • HUGE plus: experience working among or with young children (nanny, camp, pre-schools, daycare, etc). You’ll be spending your days with children and their guardians, so you must have a genuine love for young children.

  • You’ll be chatting with families all day! Strong interpersonal skills is a must, including the ability to easily engage others in dialogue, convey sincere interest in building/deepening relationships and demonstrate a commitment to providing personalized service.

  • With lots of little kids, things get messy quickly! We want you to have strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize when things get busy.

  • We love tech and tend to be early adopters of new services and solutions. Proficiency in computer skills (e.g. Google Suite) required. Know how to make an Instagram Reel? Social media experience a plus!

  • We sell and serve beer, wine, cider and seltzer. Applicants must be over 21 and willing to get an Alcohol Service Permit from OLCC (training and permit paid by employer).

  • CPR certified a plus.
